Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 28, 2026
Panalora is a brand monitoring and analysis service provided by Artul Deri Sanayi ve Ticaret Limited Şirketi. This Privacy Policy explains the information collected, used, and stored in connection with the operation of the Panalora service by Artul Deri Sanayi ve Ticaret Limited Şirketi. Panalora is a B2B software service (SaaS) that helps businesses monitor their brand visibility on social media and the web, analyze the content collected, and report on it.
A. Information Provided by Users
The following information is collected from individuals who register for and use the Service:
- Account information: full name, email address, and the secure (hashed) form of your password.
- Organization and company information: the name of the organization you represent, plan/package information, and settings such as the names, time zone, and monitoring frequency of the companies you monitor.
- Monitoring configuration: the keywords, exclusion terms, web sources you define for your company, and configuration preferences for the social media accounts you connect (for example, which content types are collected).
B. Connected Social Media Platform Data
Panalora collects data through the official APIs of the social media providers you explicitly connect. The providers currently supported are Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), and YouTube; which providers and features are actually active depends on your account's configuration and the relevant provider's approval status.
Two distinct data categories are distinguished:
- Authorized (connected account) data: when you connect a social media account via OAuth, data within the scope permitted by the provider and approved by you is retrieved — such as that account's identity (username, display name, profile picture), your own posts, public comments/replies to those posts, and engagement counts.
- Public data: only to the extent permitted by the relevant platform's official API, public posts, public engagement counts, and — provided it has been approved and enabled — general statistics for public brand accounts within the scope of competitive/comparative analysis may be collected. Panalora does not collect any type of data that a platform does not permit (for example, private/unauthorized account information).
Analyses derived from collected content (such as sentiment, relevance, and summaries) are also stored in association with your account.
C. Purposes of Data Use
- Providing the social media and web monitoring service
- Analyzing and reporting on collected content
- Sentiment and relevance analysis
- Establishing and maintaining provider account connections
- Providing customer support
- Ensuring the security of the Service and preventing misuse
- Operating, maintaining, and improving the Service
D. Automated Analysis with Artificial Intelligence
Panalora may process some of the collected content (e.g., post text, comments) using automated/AI-assisted tools to produce analyses such as sentiment, relevance, and summary extraction. This processing is part of the Service's analysis and reporting features and may be carried out using third-party AI providers. The provider used may change over time depending on changes to the Service's technical infrastructure.
E. Retention Period
Collected content is retained for a period dependent on your account's plan/package level and is automatically deleted at the end of that period. Where a specific social media provider's own platform rules require a shorter retention period, Panalora applies that shorter period — meaning the relevant content may be deleted before the plan-based period ends. Exact day counts may vary by plan and provider and are not committed to as a fixed figure in this policy.
F. Sharing and Service Providers
Collected data is not shared with or sold to third parties other than the limited number of service providers necessary to provide the Service (e.g., hosting infrastructure, the AI analysis provider named above). Panalora does not commercialize the data it collects — including publicly available competitive/comparative data — for any purpose outside its own service.
G. Security
Access keys (tokens) for your social media account connections are stored in encrypted form and used only to communicate with the relevant provider. Account actions and administrator access are subject to audit logs. Technical details of the security architecture are not shared in this policy for security reasons.
H. Your Rights and Requests
You may make the following requests regarding data associated with your account:
- A request for access to what data is held
- Correction of inaccurate/outdated information (to the extent applicable)
- Deletion of data associated with your account or connected provider accounts — see the Data Deletion page for details
The scope of these rights may vary according to the local legislation you are subject to; Panalora does not claim full compliance with any specific legal framework (e.g., KVKK, GDPR, CCPA), but seeks to reasonably accommodate requests.
I. Third-Party Platforms
Panalora integrates with third-party social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, X, and YouTube. These platforms' own privacy policies and terms of use also apply; for content you share on or access through these platforms, you are advised to review the relevant platform's own policies.
J. Changes
This policy may be updated from time to time. The effective date at the top of the page is updated for material changes.
