Social Media Analysis
Social media analysis is not just about counting collected posts and comments; it's about understanding which content is genuinely related to your brand, what sentiment it carries, and how it compares to your competitors. Panalora does this through its AI-powered analysis layer.
What is social media analysis?
Social media analysis is the process of evaluating content collected on social platforms (posts, comments, mentions) for relevance, sentiment, and performance, turning it into meaningful results. The goal is to turn a raw pile of data into an answer to "what does this mean for our brand."
What's the difference between social media monitoring and analysis?
Social media monitoring is the collection and listing of relevant content -- it answers "who mentioned it, when, and where." Social media analysis goes a step further and evaluates that collected content: relevance, sentiment trend, platform distribution, and comparison with competitors. Panalora doesn't just count mentions -- it evaluates every piece of content with AI to make it meaningful.
Which platforms does Panalora analyze social media on?
Panalora currently analyzes content collected on X, Instagram, and YouTube. Facebook has infrastructure for connected Page management, but general keyword search is not supported due to Meta's official API restrictions. LinkedIn and TikTok are not currently supported.
How is collected content analyzed?
Every post and comment is evaluated by AI: relevance score deprioritizes results unrelated to your brand, sentiment analysis classifies content as positive/negative/neutral, and results are presented along with their platform and date context -- giving you concrete answers to questions like "which platform are we talked about most on" or "how was overall perception this week."
How is social media performance compared with competitors?
The same social media data is also collected for the competitor brands you define in the Panalora dashboard. The Share of Voice feature shows the distribution of conversation volume between your brand and your competitors; Sentiment Comparison presents the positive/negative/neutral distribution for your brand and competitors side by side. This comparative analysis is covered in more detail on the competitive analysis page.
How does social media reporting work?
Panalora can turn the data it collects and analyzes into reports that can be exported as Excel and PDF, so you can share analysis results outside the dashboard too.
Who is this suitable for?
Social media teams, marketing managers, and agencies who want to track their brand's social media performance with data. You can review your brand's overall visibility on the brand monitoring page, and its presence in news and web sources on the media tracking page.
Scope limits
Panalora cannot run general keyword search on an unsupported platform (LinkedIn, TikTok) or on Facebook; social media analysis only works on collected content from the supported sources listed above.
