Data Deletion
Effective date: 28 Ağustos 2026
This page explains how to request deletion of your Panalora account, connected social media accounts, and data collected from them. You do not need to log in to read this page.
A. Disconnecting a Social Media Account (Deleting the Connection's Access Key)
If you want to immediately remove the access key for a connected Facebook, Instagram, or other social media account:
- Log in to your Panalora account.
- Under the relevant company, open the management page for the relevant provider (e.g. Instagram, Facebook).
- Click "Disconnect".
This permanently removes that provider's access key (token) from the system and immediately stops new data collection for that provider. You can also disconnect from the provider's own side (e.g. by removing the app from your Facebook account settings) -- in that case, Panalora detects that access has ended on its next access attempt and marks the connection accordingly.
B. The Difference Between Disconnecting and Deleting Data
When you disconnect:
- Deleted immediately: the access key (token) for that provider.
- Continues to be retained, not automatic: posts previously collected from that provider and their analyses remain in the system until your account's general retention period ends (see Privacy Policy, Section E). If you want this content deleted sooner, use the request process in Section C below.
C. Requesting Complete Deletion of Account or Content Data
To request that data belonging to your account, your organization, or content collected from a specific provider be completely deleted before the retention period ends:
Send a request to info@panalora.com stating the email address associated with your account and the scope of data you want deleted.
Your request is processed after account ownership is verified -- providing only an email address or a piece of identifying information is not sufficient on its own; the request must be reasonably verified as coming from the genuine account owner. This is to ensure that your account's or organization's data is deleted only at the request of authorized individuals.
No specific processing time is committed to here; requests are evaluated within a reasonable period.
D. Deletion Exceptions
Some records -- for example, transaction records kept for legal/audit obligations, or the minimum records required by a provider's own platform rules -- may be retained for a limited period even after a deletion request. These exceptions are kept to the narrowest scope possible.
E. For Facebook / Instagram Users
If you connected your Facebook or Instagram account to Panalora and then remove the app from your Facebook/Instagram account settings, Panalora will no longer collect new data for that account. You can use the request process in Section C above to delete previously collected data.
